CHW Network Webinar Series Day 1-My Role As a Cultural Broker For The Newcomer navigation and support unit at Manitoba Possible

Tiffany Pau is the Facilitator of the Newcomer Navigation and Support Unit, at the Manitoban Possible for 21 years. She reserves as a cultural broker for the people with physical and mental disabilities and provides family support for the Chinese community, and she presents at educational sessions on the topic of disability from a cultural perspective to the service providers. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Administrative Studies from the University of Winnipeg. Tiffany is also the Coordinator of the Resource Centre at the Occupational Health Centre for 11 years. Her role is coordinating the Centre’s public presentations and responding to public requests for information. She also facilitates group educational and training sessions on the topics of hazard identification, ergonomics, violence prevention and de-escalating potentially violent situation.
